The above price will be reduced by $200 if you or your contractor install the anchor system. The reduced price is for us to install the goal on the anchor system only.

If we run into a sprinkler system line that has to be relocated/rerouted, there will be an additional charge depending on the time and materials needed. There will be no charge if we cut and cap off the line.

Extra time and/or equipment needed -- Rock Clause (1)

$50 - $200

If we run into rocks, roots, or other obstructions when digging the hole which would require additional equipment (ie. jack hammer, etc.), an additional charge will apply.

Cutting through concrete

$250

If placing your goal in an existing concrete surface (ie. driveway, tennis court, patio, etc.), this charge would apply.

Sales Tax

8.25%

Sales tax will be added to the total of the above costs.

INSTALLATION PROCESS:

On a typical installation, ABC will initially come out to view the area where the home owner would like the goal installed. If any concerns or issues arise, ABC will discuss them with the home owner. ABC will give the home owner the estimated cost of installing the goal. Texas811 will be contacted by ABC and a request submitted to mark the utilities in the area where the goal will be installed. Texas811 requires at least 2 working days notice to get the utilities marked. The anchor system work will be scheduled and the anchor system installed. The crew will need access to water and electric to run the concrete mixer. The concrete will be given about a week to cure. Then the basketball goal will be installed. Payment for the installation services will be due on the day the goal is installed.

Sometimes there can be extra charges. The crew might run into rocks or roots that require additional time and tools to remove them. Sprinkler systems can cause the movement of the anchor system or relocation of the sprinkler line which may add extra charges. The crew will attempt to let you know before proceeding. A contact phone number should be available in case the home owner needs to be contacted during the installation. Please find the rock clause info below (1), along with our normal installation, and disclaimer information. You may choose to have "others" (2) install the anchor system and/or the basketball goal for you. Please refer to the "others" paragraph below for additional information if you choose this option.

(1)  Rock Clause: If, while digging the hole for the anchor system, rocks, roots or any other obstruction is encountered, or if the dirt requires additional labor time to remove, the customer can expect additional charges for any additional time and equipment needed.

(2)  Others: Refers to anybody other than ABC Maintenance, Inc that performs any or all tasks of installing the basketball hoop. It is suggested that customers utilize qualified installers. Customer, or there contractor must contact Texas811 (www.texas811.com) to have the utilities marked for proper utility location prior to digging. ABC Maintenance, Inc. (“contractor”) will take care of this if hired to perform the installation of your hoop. Customer is responsible for the cost of any required permits. Customer is responsible for contacting the home owner’s association, if any, to obtain approval for installation of a basketball hoop. The customer is responsible to have any utilities moved, if required, for proper goal installation (i.e. power lines, water lines, sprinkler lines, gas lines, phone lines, communication lines, etc.). Please feel free to give us a call if you have any questions.
